Kevin Jiminez has been photographing Weddings and Portraits in the Augusta area since 1990.

Kevin took his first photography class at Evans High School. Over the years, he has created images that are artistically rewarding and inspiring. After dabbling a little in journalism, Kevin found inspiration in capturing the beauty, relationships, and little moments that are present at weddings. This led to branching into portraits of families, children, and high school seniors. Kevin also creates commercial illustrations. His goal is to provide artistic portraits that are of the highest technical merit.

Kevin has earned many awards and accolades at the state, regional, and national level including many first place awards and awards from Fuji and Kodak.  He has earned the titles of Certified Professional Photographer (CPP), Master Photographer (M.Photog.), and Photographic Craftsman (Cr.) through the Professional Photographers of America, and also earned the Georgia Fellowship Degree.  Kevin has been awarded honors for service to the industry and to professional photography associations. He has taught and spoken to professional photography groups throughout Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina.

Kevin married his childhood sweetheart Katie in 1992. She began working full time in the studio in 2000 performing most of the image retouching and preparing client orders.  Prior to 2000, she often assisted Kevin with photographing weddings and portrait sessions. Throughout the time she assisted Kevin and ran the studio, she also created custom wedding cakes using the finest ingredients available.  Kevin lost the love of his life in 2018 after a short illness.  They loved their fur baby cats, Samantha and Buddy.
